SecDef Hosts Honor Cordon and Media Availability with MoD of Germany
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will host an honor cordon to welcome Minister of Defense Rudolf Scharping, of the Federal Republic of Germany, to the Pentagon today at 4 p.m. EDT.
The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Media must be at the River Entrance no later than 3:40 p.m. EDT for the cordon.
Cohen and Scharping will conduct a media availability at 5 p.m. EDT. Media without Pentagon credentials must be at the River Entrance of the Pentagon no later than 4:40 p.m. EDT for admission.
