Two DoD Press Briefings Set for Friday Morning
Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Frank Kramer will conduct an on the record press briefing on Friday, Oct. 13, 2000, concerning DoD views on the future of NATO-European Union defense planning. The briefing will be held in the Pentagon Briefing Room, 2E781, starting at 10 a.m. EDT.
This briefing will be followed by a background briefing on Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen's upcoming visit to South America. The second briefing, to be conducted by another senior defense official, will be held immediately following Kramer's briefing.
