Top DoD Officials to Participate in White House Conference on Cooperative Conservation
Department of Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld and other senior DoD officials are scheduled to participate in the White House Conference on Cooperative Conservation in St. Louis, Mo., Aug. 29-31, 2005, at the St. Louis Convention Center.
Rumsfeld is scheduled to speak on the first day of the conference at 11:10 a.m. CDT. Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Installations and Environment Philip W. Grone and Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Environment, Safety and Occupational Health Alex A. Beehler and military department environmental officials will be available for media interviews at the conference.
