De Leon to Speak to LA Chamber of Commerce
Deputy Secretary of Defense Rudy de Leon will speak at a breakfast meeting of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, at 10:05 a.m. PST on Friday, Dec.1, 2000. He will address the importance of reconnecting America with today's young men and women in uniform and increasing the awareness about the sacrifices they make to protect our freedoms around the world.
This meeting of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce is follow-on session to the first annual Military Quality of Life Summit, hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Department of Defense, on Oct. 5, 2000, in Washington, D.C.
