Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Peter Pace will participate in a ground-breaking ceremony to mark the beginning of work on the Pentagon Memorial Thursday, June 15 at 1:30 p.m.
The Pentagon Memorial will commemorate the 184 innocent lives lost in the Pentagon and on American Airlines Flight 77 on Sept. 11, 2001.
