Deputy Secretary of Defense John J. Hamre to discuss DOD and Y2K progress.
Deputy Secretary of Defense John J. Hamre will discuss the progress of the Department of Defense in correcting the Year 2000 computer problem tomorrow, Jan. 14, 1999, at1:30 p.m.(EST). Hamre's comments will precede the DoD's regularly scheduled Thursday press briefing in the Pentagon Briefing Studio, Room 2E781.
