"Doc" Cooke's Award Ceremony
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will present the President's Award for Distinguished Federal Civilian Service-the highest civilian award-to David O. Cooke, director of Administration and Management for the Department of Defense, at a Pentagon ceremony starting at 1:30 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999. The ceremony will be held in the Pentagon Auditorium, Room 5A1070, and is open for media coverage.
