DoD Press Brief By Admiral Prueher
Today's DoD Press Briefing is rescheduled to 2 p.m. (EST). It will begin with a briefing by Adm. Joseph W. Prueher, who was recently appointed by Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen to work with representatives from the Italian Ministry of Defense to conduct a review of the operational and safety measures implemented since the Feb. 3, 1998, EA-6B aviation tragedy at Cavalese, Italy, and to determine whether additional measures should be taken to ensure the highest levels of safety.
