DoD to Conduct Assessment of Detainee Medical Operations Briefing
The Department of Defense will hold a press briefing today 4:30 p.m. EDT with Steve Jones, principal deputy assistant secretary of defense for health affairs, and Army Lt. Gen. Kevin C. Kiley, Army surgeon general and commander of U.S. Army Medical Command to announce the results of the Assessment of Detainee Medical Operations in Afghanistan, Guantanamo and Iraq.
Press representatives without a Pentagon building pass who wish to cover this event must be at the north parking entrance no later than 3:45 p.m., to be escorted. Two forms of identification will be required, one of which must be a photo ID. Call (703) 697-5131 for an escort into the building. |
