Gen. Henry H. Shelton, U.S. Army, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will host a Joint Services Full Honors Arrival Ceremony at the Pentagon River Plaza at 3 p.m., Monday, May 24, 1999, in honor of Gen. Saleh Bin Ali Al-Muhaya, chief of the General Staff, Saudi Arabian Armed Forces.
Gen. Al-Muhaya will arrive in Washington, D.C., on Saturday., May 22, 1999, for a seven-day visit as the guest of General Shelton. During his trip to the United States, he will visit Norfolk, Va.; Fort Stewart, Ga.; Maxwell AFB, Ala.; Fort Bliss, Tex.; and MacDill AFB, Fla. The visit will conclude on Friday, May 28.
