Background Briefing on SecDef's Trip to Asia and Southeast Europe
Two senior Defense Department spokesmen will provide a background briefing on Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen's upcoming trip to Asia and Southeast Europe at 11:30 a.m. EDT in the Pentagon's DoD Briefing Room, Room 2E781, on July 21, 1999.
Cohen is scheduled to leave on July 25 to visit U.S. forces in the region and to consult with his counterparts and senior government officials in the following countries: Japan, Korea, Ukraine and Georgia.
