HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH OBSERVANCE SEPT 29, 1999

As part of its Hispanic Heritage Month activities, the Department of Defense will host an observance Wednesday, Sept. 29, at 1:30 p.m. EDT in Room 5A1070 of the Pentagon. Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Force Management Policy Francis M. Rush Jr. will be the presiding official. The guest speaker will be Deputy Director of the Office of Personnel Management John U. Sepulveda. The observance and awards ceremony will highlight the contributions of Hispanics to the Department of Defense and to the nation.
