Briefing on Results of Armed Forces Equal Opportunity Survey and Pipeline Study
At noon EST today there will be an on-the-record press briefing in the DoD Briefing Room, Room 2E781 in the Pentagon, on the results of the "Armed Forces Equal Opportunity Survey" and a second study, "Career Progression of Minority and Women Officers." Participants will include Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness Rudy de Leon, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Equal Opportunity William E. Leftwich III, and Anita Lancaster, assistant director for Program Management, Defense Manpower Data Center.
