Honor Cordon For The Presidents of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania
Deputy Secretary of Defense John J. Hamre will host an honor cordon to welcome President Lennart Meri, of the Republic of Estonia; President Algirdas Brazauskas, of the Republic of Lithuania, and President Guntis Ulmanis, of the Republic of Latvia, to the Pentagon at 10:30 a.m. (EST), Thursday, Jan. 15, 1998.
The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance.
Hamre and Ulmanis will sign a General Agreement on the Security of Military Information following the cordon in Room 3E869.
Media must be at the River Entrance no later than 10:10 a.m. (EST).
