Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will address the National Press Club on the threat posed to America by weapons of mass destruction at a luncheon scheduled for 1 p.m. (EST), tomorrow, in the National Press Club Ballroom, 529 14th Street, Washington, D.C.

Following Cohen's remarks, an on-the-record briefing outlining DoD plans to integrate the Reserve Components into the Department's response to WMD incidents will be held at 3 p.m. (EST), in the Pentagon Briefing Studio (Room 2E781).
Robert M. Walker, acting secretary of the Army and Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs Deborah R. Lee will begin the briefing, followed by Brig. Gen. Roger C. Schultz, deputy director of Military Support, Deputy Chief of Staff, Operations .
As a result of these events, the regularly scheduled Tuesday Pentagon Press Briefing is canceled.
