Deputy Secretary of Defense's Upcoming Trip
Deputy Secretary of Defense John J. Hamre will depart Andrews Air Force Base late Thursday, March 26, for a two-day trip to California, with stops in San Francisco, Monterey and San Diego.
In San Diego, Hamre will be the principal speaker at the christening ceremony of the Fast Combat Support Ship Bridge.
His wife, Mrs. Julie Hamre, is the ship's sponsor.
Hamre will return to Washington, D.C., on Saturday, March 28.
