Honor Cordon and Signing Ceremony for Minister of Defense of Romania
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will host an honor cordon to welcome Minister of Defense Constantin D. Ionescu, of Romania, to the Pentagon at 10 a.m. (EST), Monday, March 30, 1998.
The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance.
Following the ceremony Cohen and Ionescu will sign an Agreement of Cooperation in the area of Counterproliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction and Promotion of Defense and Military Relations and will conduct a brief media availability in Room 3E912 of the Pentagon.
Media must be at the River Entrance no later than 9:40 a.m. (EST).
