Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen Will Conduct a Press Briefing
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will conduct a press briefing this Thursday, April 2 at 11 a.m. in the DoD Briefing Studio to unveil the Department's report to Congress on the need for Base Realignment and Closure, the military impact of these closures, and the validity of our cost and savings numbers.
The Secretary will also address the Department's recommendations for the next rounds of Base Realignment and Closure.
Due to the Secretary's briefing, the regularly scheduled DoD Press Briefing scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 2 has been cancelled.
