U.S. Strategic Command Briefing
The Commander of the U.S. Strategic Command, Gen. Eugene E. Habiger, United States Air Force, will brief on his recent visit to Russia, Tuesday, June 16 at 2 p.m. (EDT) in the Pentagon Briefing Studio, Room 2E781.
This briefing will follow the regularly scheduled Tuesday DoD press briefing.
Habiger and his traveling group visited Moscow and other military facilities from May 30 through June 7, 1998. The visit was part of the continuing military-to-military contact program sponsored under the Nunn-Lugar Cooperative Threat Reduction Program.
