Full Honors Arrival Ceremony to Welcome Gen. Zhang Wannian, of the People's Republic of China
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will host a full honors arrival ceremony to welcome Gen. Zhang Wannian, of the People's Republic of China, to the Pentagon at 9:30 a.m. (EDT), Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998.
The ceremony will be held on the River Parade Field of the Pentagon. Media interested in coverage of the ceremony must be at the River Parade Field no later than 9:10 a.m. (EDT).
Cohen and Zhang will sign a joint statement of cooperation and hold a media availability in the Pentagon following the ceremony. Media interested in coverage of the signing and media availability must be at the Pentagon River Entrance no later than 10:50 a.m. (EDT).
