Background Briefing SecDef Trip to Gulf Region
A senior Defense department official will provide a background briefing to the news media regarding Secretary Cohen's upcoming trip to the Gulf region at 2 p.m. (EDT) on Monday, Oct. 5, 1998 in the Department of Defense Briefing Room, 2E781, the Pentagon.
Cohen, scheduled to visit Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, will depart on Wednesday, Oct. 7 and return Oct. 14.
