Under Secretary of Defense (P&R) de Leon will Host Disabilities Award Ceremony
Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness Rudy de Leon will host a ceremony at 2:30 p.m. (EDT) on Monday, Oct. 19, in the Pentagon Auditorium, room 5A1070, to present Department of Defense (DoD) awards to DoD organizations with outstanding affirmative action programs for people with disabilities and to 17 outstanding DoD employees with disabilities. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Henry H. Shelton will introduce the keynote speaker, retired U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Dana Bowman.
