Secretary Cohen to Visit Lackland AFB, TX, Ft. Jackson, SC, February 27-28
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen departs Washington,
D.C. on Thursday, February 27, 1997 on the first of his visits to
American military bases since assuming his post.
Secretary Cohen will arrive at Lackland Air Force Base near
San Antonio, Texas at
1:10 p.m. (CST), Thursday, to observe training activities and
visit with airmen assigned there. He will repeat the opportunity
the following day when he visits Fort Jackson, S.C.
