General Shalikashvili to Lead off Thursday press briefings with CWC statement
Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman, General John M.
Shalikashvili will lead off today's press briefings with a
statement on the Chemical Weapons Convention at 1:30 p.m. in the
DoD Briefing Room (Rm 2E781).
He will be available briefly to
answer questions following the statement.
As previously announced, Deputy Under Secretary of Defense
for Environmental Security Sherri W. Goodman will announce the
Department's switch to using all recycled content copier paper in
conjunction with Earth Day, at 2 p.m.
The regular Thursday, Pentagon Press Briefing, previously
scheduled to precede Secretary Goodman's announcement, will now
follow her presentation.
