Camp Monterey Narrative
Bernard Rostker, the special assistant for Gulf War
illnesses, will release the latest in a series of case narratives
related to the ongoing investigation into the possible causes of
Gulf War illnesses, on Thursday, May 22, 1997, at 1 p.m.(EDT) in
the Pentagon briefing studio, Room 2E781. The narrative concerns
reports of chemical agents at Camp Monterey, Kuwait, on September
16, 1991.
The narrative will be made available in the Directorate for
Defense Information, at 10 a.m. on the day of the briefing on an
embargoed basis until the start of the briefing. Media or
couriers without Pentagon access should use the Pentagon's Mall
Entrance (not the Metro entrance) and call 697-5133/5134 from the
telephone adjacent to the entrance security guard post to arrange
for pick up/delivery of a copy of the narrative.
The narrative will also be accessible via the Internet at:
