General Ralston will visit the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

General Joseph W. Ralston, vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will depart Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland on Sunday July 13. He will visit the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, July 14-16, and the Republic of India, July 16-18. He will meet with senior US Officials and with civilian and military leaders of both governments. These meetings will provide General Ralston with an update on regional affairs. This will be General Ralston's first visit to both countries. On July 19, prior to his return to the United States, General Ralston will visit SFOR Headquarters in Sarajevo and Task Force Eagle in Tuzla. The Vice Chairman is scheduled to return to Washington on Saturday evening, July 19.
