Army Press Briefing, September 11, 1997 at 1:30 p.m.
The Secretary of the Army and Chief of Staff of the Army will hold a press conference on Thursday, September 11, at 1:30 p.m., to release the reports from the Secretary's Senior Review Panel and Department of the Army Inspector General on sexual harassment in the Army.
They will also release the Army's Human Relations Action Plan.
The press conference will be held in the DoD briefing room 2E781, and will take the place of the regular DoD press briefing.
At 11:00 Thursday, the Army will release an embargoed press package containing a press release, copies of the two reports and the Action Plan.
Information in that package will be embargoes until the start of the press conference.
