Honor Cordon for President of Eritrea
Deputy Secretary of Defense John J. Hamre will host an honor cordon to welcome President Afworki Isaias, of the State of Eritrea, to the Pentagon at 2 p.m. (EDT), Friday, Sept. 19, 1997.
The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance.
There will not be a media availability following the cordon.
Media must be at the River Entrance no later than 1:40 p.m.
