Army "TAKE CHARGE" Program
Assistant Secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs Sara E.
Lister will announce the Army's "TAKE CHARGE!" Program on Tuesday, 23 September, 1997, at 1:30 p.m. (EDT) in the Pentagon Briefing Room (2E781).
Wilson Goode, deputy assistant secretary of Education, Office of Intergovernmental and Interagency Affairs, and Maj. Gen. Mark R. Hamilton, the commanding general of the United States Army Recruiting Command, will formally cement the Army's long-standing relationship with America's schools by signing-on with the Department of Education in a Partnership for Family Involvement in Education.
