Bernard Rostker, special assistant for Gulf War illnesses, will release another case narrative and three more information papers in the Pentagon briefing studio, Room 2E781, on Thursday, Nov. 13, 1997, following the scheduled press briefing at 1:30 p.m. (EST).
The case narrative focuses on the possible presence of chemical warfare agents at Tallil Air Base, Iraq. A third information paper is about the M8A1 Automatic Chemical Agent Alarm used by U.S. military forces during the Gulf War.
The narrative and information papers will be made available in the Directorate for Defense Information, at noon on the day of the briefing. Media or couriers without Pentagon access should use the Pentagon's Mall Entrance (not the Metro entrance) and call 697-5131/5134 from the telephone adjacent to the entrance security guard post to arrange for pick up of a copy of the papers.
The documents will also be accessible via the Internet at www. gulflink.osd.mil after the briefing.
