Honor Cordon and Joint Press Conference for Republic of Korea
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will host an honor cordon to welcome Minister of National Defense Kim Dong Jin of the Republic of Korea, to the Pentagon at 10 a.m. (EST), Tuesday, Dec. 9, 1997.
The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Media interested in audiovisual coverage of the honor cordon must be at the River Entrance no later than 9:40 a.m. (EST).
Secretary Cohen and Minister Kim will hold a joint press conference at 11:30 a.m. (EST) in the Pentagon Briefing Room 2E781. There will be no regularly scheduled Tuesday DoD press briefing.
