Lt. Gen. Johnnie E. Wilson, deputy chief of staff for Logistics, will present
an overview of logistics support for Operation Joint Endeavor, at 1 p.m.
Friday, January 5, in the DoD Briefing Studio, Room 2E781.
Wilson will describe the support structure for the implementation forces
(IFOR) and logistics operations, including the Army's Total Asset Visibility
system which has automated the tracking of supply shipments. He will also
discuss the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) used to contract for
general purposes.
