No. 006-P:01/17/96:General John M. Shalikashvili, USA, chai
General John M. Shalikashvili, USA, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will
visit Guantanamo Bay Naval Facility in Cuba on Thursday, Jan. 18, 1996. While
at Guantanamo he is scheduled to tour the camps and base facilities and to
participate in the Joint Task Force 160 Deactivation Ceremony at 2 p.m. The
chairman will hold a press conference immediately following the deactivation
ceremony.
