Secretary of Defense to present Excellence in Acquisition Awards
Secretary of Defense William Perry will present six David
Packard Excellence in Acquisition Awards, Friday, May 3, 1996,
10:30 p.m. (EDT) in the Pentagon Auditorium, Room 5A1070.
These awards, established this year, recognize the best
acquisition integration product teams in the Department of
Defense. In addition, Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition
Paul G. Kaminski will present several awards to individuals who
contributed to the rewriting of the Department of Defense 5000
series of regulations and guidance on acquisition.
