Opening Ceremony Set for New Pentagon Athletic Center

            Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul D. Wolfowitz and Department of Defense Director of Administration and Management Raymond F. DuBois will open the new Pentagon Athletic Center in a ceremony Monday, March 29, at 10:30 a.m. EST.

 

            Three-time Olympic Gold Medalist and five-time track and field world champion Marion Jones will join DoD representatives in the first ceremonial lap around the facility's indoor running track to conclude the ceremony.  An open house for Pentagon personnel will follow the opening events.  Tours of the athletic center, equipment demonstrations and an autograph session with Marion Jones will be available from noon to 2 p.m.
