President Clinton to visit the Pentagon Tuesday, May 21
President Clinton will visit the Pentagon and be met by
Secretary of Defense William Perry, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs
of Staff Gen. John Shalikashvili, Secretary of the Navy John
Dalton, and Acting Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jay L. Johnson
on Tuesday, May 21, 1996. The President will meet with Admiral
Boorda's personal staff and the Navy's operational (OPNAV) staff.
Media interested in audiovisual coverage of the arrival and
departure of the President must be in place at the Mall Entrance
no later than 8:45 a.m. (EDT). The President will arrive at
approximately 10 a.m. (EDT).
