Joint Staff Officials to Participate in a Media Availability on Joint Vision 2010
Senior officials of the Joint Staff will participate in a
media availability concerning Joint Vision 2010 in the Pentagon,
Room 2E776, at 10:30 a.m. (EDT), Wednesday, July 17, 1996.
JV2010 is the vision for future development of the U.S. military
developed at the direction of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of
Staff, General John M. Shalikashvili. Air Force Maj. Gen. Joseph
J. Redden, commander, Joint Warfighting Center, Ft. Monroe, Va.;
Navy Rear Admiral Scott A. Fry, deputy director, Strategy and
Policy, Strategic Plans and Policy Directorate, J-5; and Army
Brig. Gen. Robert F. Dees, vice director, Operational Plans and
Interoperability Directorate, J-7, will make brief statements and
take questions about JV2010.
