Background Briefing on U.S.-Japanese Security Issues at 5:15 p.m. September 17, 1996
REVISED
Dr. Kurt Campbell, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense
(Asian and Pacific Affairs), International Security Affairs, and
Mr. Charles Kartman, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State (East
Asia and Pacific Affairs), will conduct a background briefing on
U.S.-Japanese security issues at 5:15 p.m., Tuesday, September 17
at the National Defense University (NDU), Roosevelt Hall, Ft.
McNair, Washington, D.C.
There will also be a photo opportunity at the arrival of
U.S. and Japanese officials meeting for the Security Subcommittee
today at NDU at 2:45 p.m.
