U.S., Japanese Heads of State to Host Joint Press Conference at 1 p.m. Today
Secretary of Defense William J. Perry and Secretary of State
Warren Christopher will host a joint press conference with
Japan's Foreign Minister Yukihiko Ikeda and Director-General
Hideo Usui, of the Japan Defense Agency at 1 p.m., today, in the
Franklin Room, Department of State, 2201 C Street, NW, Washington
D.C. The audio portion of the press conference can be heard live
in the Pentagon on Cable Channel 13.
As a result of this event, the Thursday Pentagon Press
Briefing, regularly scheduled for 1:30 p.m., will be moved to 2
p.m.
