This is to clarify a statement made at the Sept. 24, regularly scheduled Pentagon Press Briefing.
This is to clarify a statement made at the Sept. 24,
regularly scheduled Pentagon Press Briefing. The computer model
software developed that will establish the footprint of where the
plume would likely to have traveled for the March 10, 1991
destruction of the area known as the Pit at Khamisiyah, is in its
final stages of completion at the CIA. The model has not been
passed to DoD. Once completed, DoD will apply the information to
its computer models to ascertain which units would likely to have
been in the area at the time of the demolition.
