SECDEF WILLIAM PERRY WILL DEPART ANDREWS AFB ON TUESDAY, OCT 29, 1996 FOR VISITS TO FORT SILL, OKLA. AND FORT HOOD, TEXAS.
Secretary of Defense William J. Perry will depart Andrews
Air Force Base on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 1996, for visits to Fort
Sill, Okla. and Fort Hood, Texas. He will visit Fort Sill first,
meeting with senior enlisted servicemembers and touring
installation training and housing facilities. He will also
observe a Paladin weapon system live-fire demonstration.
Secretary Perry will then travel to Fort Hood on Tuesday
afternoon to speak to area civic leaders at an evening dinner and
visit with troops the next day. On Wednesday, Oct. 30, he will
visit the Army Experimental Force XXI and tour installation
housing. Secretary Perry will then return to Andrews Air Force
Base.
A media photo-op is planned at the West Firing Range, Fort
Sill, at 3:30 p.m. Point of contact at the Ft. Sill Public

at the Officers' Club on Oct. 29, which is open to coverage, and
