VADM Garnett to Brief NATO Issues

Vice Adm. Ian D. G. Garnett, U.K. Navy, deputy, Supreme Allied Commander, NATO Allied Command Atlantic will provide an update on the NATO foreign ministers meeting in Brussels at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 1996. The regularly scheduled DoD briefing will follow.

Vice Adm. Garnett has been extensively involved in issues relating to Allied Command Atlantic and Partnership for Peace training programs. He will also discuss the challenges facing the alliance as the 50th anniversary of NATO approaches in 1999.
