Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Logistics James R. Klugh will deliver the
keynote address at the "Specifications and Standards in Transition" conference
Thursday, January 26, 1995, at 8:00 a. m. The two-day meeting, which ends on
Friday, January 27, is co-sponsored by the Department of Defense and the
Society of Logistics Engineers. The conference will be held at the Hyatt
Regency, 2799 Jefferson Davis Highway, Crystal City, Va.
Also during the conference on January 26, at 9:00 a.m., Deputy Under Secretary
of Defense for Acquisition Reform Colleen Preston will participate in a panel
discussion on the work of DoD's process action team on military specifications
and standards.
