Secretary Rumsfeld and Gen. Myers Conduct Briefing
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Richard B. Myers, will conduct a press conference today in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E781 at noon EST.
Immediately following that press conference Air Force Lt. Gen. Norton Schwartz, director for operations, J-3, Joint Staff; Army Lt. Gen. Richard Cody, deputy chief of staff, G3, and Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Jan C. Huly, deputy commandant for plans, policy and operations, will conduct a briefing on the force rotation plan for Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
Media representatives who do not have a Pentagon building pass and wish to cover this event should arrive at the Pentagon's North Parking Entrance at 11:30 a.m. for an escort. Media without a Pentagon building pass must have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. |
