Media interested in attending the Defense Ministerial of the Americas (DMA)
from July 24 through 26 in Williamsburg, Va., are required to have DMA press
credentials. Credentialing requirements include a completed DMA press
credential application, two passport/visa-type photographs, and a letter of
assignment on media outlet letterhead. Application forms are available in the
office of the Director of Defense Information (DDI), Room 2E765, Pentagon, or
by calling DDI at 703-697-5131.
Completed press credential application forms, photos, and letters should be
sent to: Director of Defense Information, The Pentagon, Room 2E765,
Washington, DC, 20301-1400. Credentials for approved media can be picked up at
the DMA press center on July 23, 1995, after 5 p.m. Although advance
credentialing is strongly recommended, journalists may acquire credentials at
the DMA by presenting the material described above to the DMA press center.
The press center will operate in the Commonwealth Hall of the Woodlands Hotel,
Colonial Williamsburg, from July 23 through 26. The center has card activated
telephones, facsimile machines, and workspace for credentialed media members.
A press information desk will operate 24 hours a day to assist with inquiries
or filing problems. Press center staff will distribute official schedules,
coordinate attendance to open briefings, and arrange press movements to
official functions.
