Bob Stone, Director of the National Performance Review (NPR), will present anAir Force organization with Vice President Gore's Hammer Award today, in thePentagon Army Auditorium (5A1070), at 3:30 p.m.
The award, for specialrecognition to teams making significant contributions in support of thePresident's NPR principles, will be accepted by Lt. Col. Mike Townes, Directorof Security and Communications, on behalf of his Pentagon-based team.
TheDirectorate of Security and Communications is part of the 497th IntelligenceGroup, Kelly AFB, Tex.
Maj General Kenneth A. Minihan, Air Force Assistant Chief of Staff forIntelligence, and Mr. Stone will make brief remarks prior to thepresentation.
