"Defense Against the Changing Threat" is the theme of the Department ofDefense Worldwide Antiterrorism Conference, which will take place at theMarriott Hotel, Newport, Rhode Island, from Aug. 28 - Aug. 30.
DoD has sponsored AT Conferences annually from 1989 until 1994.
Conferenceattendees include representatives from the Departments of Defense, State,Energy and Justice; FBI; CIA and the U.S. Coast Guard.
This year's Conference will include an Antiterrorism Recognition ProgramAwards Banquet on Aug. 30, at which Assistant Secretary of Defense for SpecialOperations and Low Intensity Conflict H. Allen Holmes will present awards tothis year's recipients.
