Secretary of Defense William J. Perry will depart Washington on Sunday,
October 22 for a visit to Mexico City, Mexico. The Secretary will meet with
senior Mexican government officials on October 23 and will return to Washington
on October 24.
A background briefing on the Secretary's trip will be conducted for interested
news media on Friday, October 20 in the DoD Briefing Studio at 10 a.m.
