A Joint Services Full Honors Ceremony will be conducted at the Pentagon River
Entrance at 9 a.m., October 6, 1994, for the arrival of General Lee, Yang Ho,
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Republic of Korea. He will be greeted
by General John M. Shalikashvili, Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff.
General Lee is visiting the United States October 2-8 as the guest of General
Shalikashvili and is participating on Thursday, October 6, in the 16th Military
Committee Meeting in Washington, D.C. He will also participate, along with the
Minister of Defense, Republic of Korea, in a wreath-laying ceremony at the
Tomb of the Unknowns, Arlington National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. on the 6th.
While in the United States, General Lee will visit various military
installations in Hawaii.
Coverage is limited to photograph opportunities at the arrival ceremony, the
beginning of the Military Committee Meeting, and the wreath-laying ceremony at
Arlington National Cemetery. Because of the limited space in the MCM meeting
