Commander to Brief Live From Afghanistan on Security and Development
U.S. Army Col. Edward B. Daly, commander, 209th Afghan Regional Security Integration Command-North, and Maj. Gen. Murad Ali, Commander, 209th Corps, Afghan National Army, will brief live from Afghanistan at 9 a.m. EST, Nov. 30, in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E579, to provide an update on training of the ANA and recent operations against the Taliban in the Mazar-E-Sharif area of northern Afghanistan.
Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the North Parking Entrance only. Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. Please call (703) 697-5131 for escort into the building.
